On September 14, 2023 – Santigie Kamara and Emmanuel Kamara attended a 2-day Train-the-Trainer workshop at the Develop Africa Computer Training Cener at Juba Hill, Freetown. Instruction covered basic computer literacy skills and information:
Use of the mouse to navigate and interact with the computer interface.
Creating and organizing folders including explanation on how essential it is for managing files and data on a computer.
How to access different software programs within the Windows environment. Windows Customization: Windows background, theme, change date and time, etc.
Introduction to Microsoft Word for preparing and editing basic documents which is a fundamental skill for many office and academic tasks.
September 18, 2023 – Excitement was the word for the day at the Foursquare Primary School in the village of Kagberay Bomkapr, Sierra Leone, as work began on the installation of solar panels, inverter, accessories, and wiring of the computer lab. Six 450 watt panels were installed. The completed solar power unit is capable of producing 3000 Watts. Videos are of work in progress
