Board Recruitment
Join our mission to transform education in Sierra Leone.
Be Part of the Next Chapter of the Max & Ada Bailor Educational Foundation
The Max & Ada Bailor Educational Foundation is entering an exciting new era of growth. After years of founder-led impact, we are transitioning to a board-led organization committed to scaling our work and reaching thousands more children in Sierra Leone.
We are currently seeking four dynamic, mission-driven leaders to join our Board of Directors.
If you are passionate about education, international development, or social impact — and believe in the power of networks, philanthropy, and leadership, we invite you to consider joining us.
Our Mission
To expand access to quality education for children in rural Sierra Leone by building classrooms, empowering communities, and breaking cycles of poverty.
We believe that every child deserves a safe place to learn — and every community deserves the opportunity to grow through education.

Our Impact

This progress was once unimaginable, but with the right leadership, it can be multiplied across Sierra Leone.
What Your Leadership Will Help Strengthen
Through classroom construction, community mobilization, and educational support, we have helped transform the village of Kagbaray Bomkapr and its surrounding communities.
600+ children now have access to safe and functional learning spaces
Teenage pregnancy reduced to nearly zero
Child marriage among girls is eliminated entirely
Families and local leaders actively support school operations
A new generation of you is entering secondary, vocational and leadership roles
Why We Are Recruiting New Board Members
The Foundation is moving from a founder-led model to a board-led strategic growth model.
