Where others see obstacles, we see possibility. The Bailor Foundation was born from the belief that education is not just a pathway out of poverty but a foundation for community transformation. Since opening the school in 2005, we have witnessed firsthand how access to learning has turned a small rural community of 900 people into a thriving hub of more than 2,850 residents. Education has proven to be both a magnet for families and a catalyst for development.
Building on What Works
We are committed to building on this progress by addressing the very challenges that threaten to limit our children’s future. Our response focuses on:
Rehabilitating and sustaining facilities to ensure safe, healthy, and inspiring spaces for both pupils and staff.
Strengthening learning environments through improved classrooms, seating, sanitation, and access to teaching materials.
Investing in teachers by providing scholarships, stipends, professional development, and training in project-based learning and technology integration.
Equipping students for success with exam preparation, mentorship, and guidance services that ensure no child is left behind.
Expanding opportunities beyond the classroom with co-curricular activities, skills training for dropouts and learners with difficulties, and programs that build confidence and practical skills for life.
